Buenos días! Para empezar la semana os traigo unas imágenes de mi viaje a San Francisco, un lugar de California al que llevaba años queriendo ir, y que me sorprendió en muchos aspectos. Os dejo por aquí unas fotos de esta ciudad de contrastes:

Good morning! Let's start the week with some images from my trip to San Francisco, a Californian city I'd wanted to visit for many years and which surprised me in many ways. Here are somo photos from this city of contrasts.

Las casitas conocidas como Painted Ladies son como para quedarte allí a vivir, esa zona es ideal para pasear o hacer un picnic en Alamo Square, con vistas tanto a las painted ladies como al moderno skyline de la ciudad.

The houses known as Painted Ladies are really inviting to move in, the area is great to walk around or have a picnic at Alamo Square, with a view to the painted ladies and the modern skyline.

El tranvía es el medio de transporte más icónico de San Francisco, y de lo más práctico cuando tienes que recorrer sus empinadas calles!

Cable cars are the iconic way of public transportation, and really usefull when you need to go uphill!

El Golden Gate Park fue todo un descubrimiento, en especial sus jardines botánicos y el Jardín de Té japonés, un oasis para pasar la tarde transportándote a Asia.

Golden Gate Park truly amazed me, specially the botanical gardens and the Japanese Tea Garden, an oasis that makes you travel to Asia.

La niebla va y viene a su antojo, creando una atmósfera misteriosa y unos juegos de luz maravillosos. Pasear por Chinatown es una tentación porque quieres entrar a comer a todos los restaurantes!

Fog comes and goes as it wishes, creating a misterious ambiance and wonderful lights. Walking around Chinatown is really tempting, I felt like eating at every restaurant!

Desde San Francisco puedes hacer excursiones a Sausalito, Berkeley o la famosa prisión de Alcatraz, que puede que no sea una visita muy romántica, pero es bastante interesante.

From San Francisco you can take short trips to Sausalito, Berkeley or the famous Alcatraz prison, which might not very romantic, but it's quite interesting.

La zona serpenteante de la Calle Lombard no la pillamos en su mejor momento, pero las vistas hacia abajo fueron impresionantes.

The twisted section at Lombard Street didn't look its best when I visited, but the view from the top is quite impressive.

El Pier 39 es de lo más concurrido y animado, con muchos sitios para comer y un mirador para ver los leones marinos. Mi favorito sin duda es el clam chowder que sirven en una hogaza de pan de Boudin, maridado con una Blue Moon bien fresquita!

Pier 39 is busy and alive, with many spots to eat and a view point to watch the sea lions. My favorite is clam chowder served inside a Boudin bread, paired with a cold Blue Moon!

La chocolatería Ghirardelli también tiene su sede en San Francisco, donde puedes comprar y probar un sinfín de chocolates. Podéis olerlo???

Guirardelli chocolate has it's headquarters in San Francisco, where you can buy and taste endles chocolates. Can you smell it???

Alrededor del parque Yerba Buena hay un montón de museos, arte y espacios culturales, todo dentro de una mezcla arquitectónica de lo más impactante.

You can visit lots of museums, art and cultural spaces around Yerba Buena Gardens, surrounded by impressive buildings.

Y el que probablemente sea el puente más famoso del mundo, el espectacular Golden Gate. Visitarlo es algo obligatorio cuando estás en San Francisco, ya sea por el puente en sí, del que hay un montón de curiosidades e historia explicada en un mirador, o por las vistas a la bahía, que se va trasformando por minutos según sopla el viento y el sol se mueve. Hay valientes que lo cruzan caminando o corriendo, yo paseé el primer tramo y es toda una experiencia.

And what might be the most famous bridge in the world, the spectacular Golden Gate. Visiting is a must when you are in San Francisco. You can go just for the bridge, which you can learn a lot about at the Vista Point South, or go for the views of the bay, which keep changing with the wind and sun. You can even cross it walking or running, I walked the first section and it was quite an experience.

Y por último os dejo con una imagen del Palacio de Bellas Artes al llegar la noche, un lugar que parece el escenario del lago de los cisnes!

And last, I leave you with this picture of the Palace of Fine Arts, which looks like a scene from Swan Lake!

Pink Winter

Buenos días! Hoy os traigo un nuevo look con nuevo cortecito de pelo que me hice para inaugurar este año. Sabéis que el rosa es uno de los colores que mas uso en mis looks y, aunque no es un color muy típico de invierno, también lo llevo en estas fechas.

Good morning! Today I'm sharing a new outfit and the hair cut I got to start this new year. You know I love wearing pink, and even if it's not the most typical winter color, I also wear it during this season.

El protagonismo en este caso se lo lleva este abrigo rosa, que pude que se lo hayáis visto a Michelle Jenner en la serie Berlín, que también ha sido uno de los súper estrenos de estas fechas. Y también me lo habréis visto a mí en otros outfits como ESTE. Me encanta porque es como ir envuelta en algodón dulce.

The highlight of this outfit is the pink coat, which you might have seen worn by Michelle Jenner in the new Money Heist: Berlin series, which has been one of the premiers of the season. And you might remember it from this outfit HERE. I love it cause it feels like you are wrapped in cotton candy.

En esta ocasión lo he combinado con un jersey fresa de alpaca muy calentito que compre en Perú, y el resto en colores neutros. Una falda de canalé tostada, muy cómoda y que forma parte de un conjunto que ya os enseñé AQUÍ.

This time I´ve worn it with a warm strawberry alpaca sweater I purchased in Peru, and everything else in neutral colors. The ribbed tan skirt belongs to a set I already posted HERE.

Los zapatos son unos merceditas triples de Chloe de hace años, pero que vuelven a ser tendencia esta temporada. Y el bolso de piel entrelazada también se lleva mucho desde que Bottega Veneta lo lanzase hace un par de años.

The shoes are Chloe triple MaryJanes from a few years ago, but are the trend of the season. And the intrecciato bag is also super trendy since Bottega Veneta launched this style a couple of years ago.

Y por último, para no pasar frio, unas medias de Calzedonia y unos guantes de piel nude.

Finally, to stay warm, I've paired it with Calzedonia tights and nude leather gloves.

Camel coat and burgundy Chanel flap

Buenos días! Espero que hayáis tenido unas felices fiestas y acabado el 2023 de la mejor manera posible! Para empezar el año os traigo un look con una de mis prendas favoritas de fondo de armario; el maxi abrigo camel. Algunas puede que recordéis este abrigo muy similar, que ya tuvo alguna aparición en el blog hace años. Era un abrigo que me encantaba y que ponía bastante, pero era de mi madre. Así que cuando me mudé a Estados Unidos, no lo llevé conmigo, y al parecer mi madre se deshizo de él en alguna limpieza...

Good morning! I hope you had happy holidays and a wonderful end of the 2023! We start the year with one of my favorite classic pieces; the camel maxi coat. Some of you might remember a similar coat, that I posted here years ago. I loved that coat and used to wear it quite often, but iit belonged to my mom. So when I moved to the states, I did not take it with me, and it looks like my mother got rid of it at some point...

Pues bien, al volver a España, y tras registrar todos los armarios de mis padres varias veces, asumí que ya no estaba y comencé mi búsqueda incansable, y un par de años después encontré esta maravilla de abrigo. Como os podréis imaginar, lo he puesto bastante desde entonces, así que quería presentároslo formalmente, combinado con un total look en color burdeos, que es una mezcla que me encanta.

So, when I returned to Spain, and after searching every closet at my parents home, I accepted it was gone and started my hunt for a replacement. It took me a couple of years to found this wonderful coat and, as you can imagine, I have been wearing it non-stop siince then. So I justt wanted to introduce you properly on this post, where I'm wearing it with a total look in burgundy, which is a combination I really like.
