El fin de semana pasado participé, junto con otros diseñadores y artistas, en el Ciento y Pico Market de Madrid. Fue una experiencia genial y quiero dar las gracias a todos los que me visitasteis, no tengo palabras! Algunos ya erais buenos amigos y a otros me encantó conoceros. Así que este post os lo dedico a vosotros! A los que posasteis y a los que no, y a los que hacéis que Sugar Lane siga creciendo cada día! Feliz fin de semana y felices vacaciones! Last weekend I was part of the Ciento y Pico Market, in Madrid, with several designers and artists. It was a wonderful experience and I want to thank everyone who visited me, there's no words to say how happy you made me! Some of you were already good friends, and I loved meeting some others. Buenos días! Despues del fin de semana en el Ciento y Pico Market lo primero quiero dar las gracias a todos los que os pasasteis, me encantó veros! El viernes tendréis post con el evento ;) Hoy os enseño el look que llevé el primer día, con la seda como protagonista y los accesorios en morado "radiant orchid", nombrado color del año por el Señor Pantone. Good morning! After the weekend at Ciento y Pico Market first I wanna thank everyone who visited it, I loved meeting you all! I'll post all about it this Friday ;) Today's look is what I wore for the opening, all in silk with purple "radiant orchid" accessories, color of the year by Mr. Pantone. Yo no soy de estampados. Dicho esto, aquí tenéis (otra vez!) mis pantalones de esta temporada. No sé qué me pasa, pero es que los veo que combinan con todo! Vamos, que les estoy sacando más el jugo que a unos jeans... Y tampoco soy de verde porque, será un color precioso pero, seamos sinceros, a quién le favorece??? Pues eso, que me encanta este look tan alegre y primaveral, me estaré haciendo mayor? Acabaré enfundada en un vestido de leopardo, ay madre! que se empieza con unas florecillas y se acaba embutida en animal prints! Vosotros en que nivel de estampación estáis???

I'm not into prints. Having said that, here are (once again!) my pants of the season. I have no clue what's wrong with me, but for some reason I think they go well with anything! I'm actually wearing them more than jeans... And I'm not into green, at all! Let's face it, who looks good in green??? So yeah, I'm in love with this look, so fresh and springy. I'm I growing old? Will I end up in a leopard dress, OMG! we all know that once you start with innocent flowers you'll end up all wrapped in animal prints! In which print level are you???

Cada pieza de esta colección tiene un color intenso y vibrante, como este azul, que sin duda es de mis favoritos! Good morning! Today I'm showing you an outfit wearing one of the robes from my new collection #SugarLaneRainbow, in a kimono jacket style. Every piece of the collection has a deep vibrant color, like this blue, which is definitely one of my favorites! Seguro que si vivís en Madrid tenéis más de un "abriguito de primavera"(a.k.a. Guardapolvo), no? Sí, esos abrigos que no abrigan nada y que compramos compulsivamente porque son "super monos", pero que nunca amortizas porque como todo el mundo sabe: "En Madrid no hay primavera". No me malinterpretéis; todo está verde, hay flores por todos sitios y llueve polen por toda la ciudad, pero aquí pasamos del frío al calor de sopetón, sin anestesia. Sabemos que es primavera el día que en el mismo vagón de metro hay gente con shorts y chanclas y gente con botas y jersey... Así que, qué hacemos para que nuestros abrigos de primavera no se apolillen? Pues yo me he propuesto sacarlos por la tarde/noche a tomar algo, cada día uno, porque si hay una cosa segura estos días es que por la noche refresca ;)

Do you get to enjoy Spring weather in your city? In Madrid we pass from cold to warm weather, all of a sudden! But shops actually sell spring clothes, so we tend to buy cute spring light coats that are not really useful. So this year I've decided to wear them in the evening, take them out for drinks or something, one coat every day, cause days might be cold or hot but, nowadays I can be sure, nights are fresh!
