Sagunto es una pequeña ciudad cercana a Valencia y conocida por su castillo y teatro romano. Está bien para hacer una paradita si estás por la zona, la zona alta del castillo es enorme, aunque de dificil acceso, y el teatro romano ha sido reconstruido sobre lo que quedaba en ruinas, que era poco...

Sagunto is a small city near Valencia, know by its castle and roman theatre. It's a good option to stop by or for a one day trip if you are around. The fort area is huge, but the access is complicated, and the theatre was recently rebuilt, but you can still see part of the original structure...

Chang chang chang-it-ty chang shoo-bop

Buenos días! Arrancamos la semana con un toque retro, esta vez de inspiración cincuentera y "Grease" total! Ya sabéis que de lejos veo poco (o nada) y las gafas son mi salvación... Esta temporada me apetecía algo más arriesgado, así que elegí estas de ojo de gato, qué además de muy vintage son muy nerd :) La chupa de cuero equilibra el look, donde los toques de rojo son indispensables. Feliz semana!

Good morning! Let's start the week with a retro touch, this time inspired by the 50's and Grease! You know I need glasses in open spaces, and this time I was bold enough to go for something different, so I've chosen cat eye frames, vintage and nerd at the same time, don't you love it? :) The perfecto jacket balances the outfit, where pops of red are the highlight. DIY Deco: Floral shots

Hoy quiero enseñaros una idea sencillísima para adornan cualquier rincón o mesa con flores sin necesidad de un ramo complicado y carísimo. Se puede hacer con casi cualquier flor. Con amapolas queda muy delicado, también podéis mezclar flores distintas, yo os recomiendo salir a la calle y cortar las que más os gusten. Yo os enseño mi versión con rosas rojas, que quedan muy vistosas y además huelen genial! Feliz finde!

Today I wanna show you a really simple idea of floral arrangement. You can decorate any table or corner like this, instead of a complicated and expensive bouquet. It works with almost any flower, poppies look lovely and delicate, you can even mix flowers, go outside and pick whatever you like. I'm showing you my red roses version, which looks great and smells fantastic! Have a happy weekend!

Moroccan haberdashery

En Marruecos aun existe una industria textil a medida, por lo que se pueden encontrar mercerías y tiendas de telas con mucha variedad. Yo en una mercería soy como un niño en una tienda de chuches, así que os podéis imaginar cómo disfruté. Lo más curioso es que venden bobinas de seda de todos los colores para trenzar y hacer las pasamanerías y adornos de las prendas.

In Morocco there's still a custom made textile industry, so there are plenty of haberdasheries and fabric shops. I feel like a child at a candy store when I enter a haberdashery, so you can imagine how much I enjoyed. The silk yarn to make passementerie and clothes adornments is something I hadn't seen in my life, at least not like this.

Spring and butterflies!

La gracia de la primavera es que cada día es una sorpresa! Una tarde vas por el Retiro con sandalias y al día siguiente vuelves a sacar el abrigo... A mí mientras hayan flores y mariposas revoloteando, todo me va bien! Así que sacad las botas, los paraguas y saltad en los charcos!

The funny thing about spring is that everyday is a surprise! One day you are walking in the park wearing sandals and the next morning you are back inside your coat... I'm happy with anything as long as there are flowers and butterflies around! So put your boots on, open your umbrellas and dance in the rain!

Moroccan Souk

Inauguro la sección de "Mercados" con un resumen de los zocos marroquíes. Las verduleras bereberes de Tánger son de lo más pintoresco, aunque algo agresivas. Hay un mundo de babuchas y zapatos de piel en todos los colores, comodísimos, pero con un fuerte olor a piel. Las especias y legumbres se compran a granel en casi todas las tiendas, y la moda local se centra en las chilabas de colores. Pasen y vean!

I star the "Markets" section with a mix of moroccan souks. Berber sellers are a nice view, but quite aggressive if you approach them camera in hand. There's a whole world of babouches and leather shoes, comfy but with a strong leather smell. Spices and lentils are sold in bulk everywhere, and local fashion focuses on colorful jellabas. As I told you, this week I had coffee at Le Pain Quotidien, where LAF, a spanish brand, introduced us to their new collection of Playmobil jewelry. DIY: Leather Business Card Holder

Este DIY lo quería hacer desde hace mucho tiempo, y anoche por fin lo hice! A las 12 de la noche y después de un laaaaaargo día de trabajo, lo que demuestra que no hay que estar ni muy espabilida ni lleva demasiado tiempo hacerlo. Un tarjetero es de lo más útil cuando tienes que ir repartiendo tarjetas a diestro y siniestro, y si eres egoblogger ya ni te cuento ;P

I wanted to make this DIY for a while, and last night I finally managed! At 12 and after a loooooong working day, proof that you don't even need to be fresh and it takes a few minutes only. A business card holder is really useful when you have to give your card at meetings, specially if you're an ego-blogger :P
