La inspiración siempre nace de algo. En este caso vamos a reciclar materiales para decorar unos zapatos. Yo siempre he tenido una caja (a veces mas de una) en la que meto todas las cosas que ya no sirven pero que pueden tener una segunda vida. Desde abrigos hasta pendientes desparejados, todo vale!
Inspiration always comes from somewhere. Today we are recycling materials to decorate a pair of shoes. I have a box (or more than one) where I keep all the outdated, broken, stained or useless stuff that could have a second life. From coats to single earrings, everything is a potential project.
Este DIY se puede hacer a partir de un bolso, unas botas, una cartera, estuche o cualquier otra prenda de piel que se os ocurra. En mi caso he utilizado el ante de un bolso de piel que tenía varias manchas y el cuero de la correa del bolso. Los trozos de ante limpios los he guardado para futuras ideas, y los cierres y remaches metálicos también.
This DIY can be done out of a bag, boots, a wallet, a pencil case or any leather item that comes to your mind. I've used suede from a stained bag and leather from the strap of the same bag. I've kepst the rest of suede pieces, studs and clasps for future DIY ideas.
Esta falda-pantalón se ha convertido en la prenda del verano. No sé cuantas habrá vendido Don Amancio, pero seguro que el patrón lo ha amortizado bien. Puede que sea por la original forma, el color básico o simplemente lo bien que sienta a la mayoría, pero el caso es que ha invadido la calle y yo estoy encantada con la mía!
Today I'm wearing the best seller of the season. I have no clue how many girls have it already, but I'm sure Zara's owner must be very happy with the item. It might be due to its original cut, its basic color or just the amazing fitting, whatever it is... the streets are taken by the famous "Wrap SKORT" and I'm more than happy with mine! Half skirt, half short, could I ask for more?
En esta ocasión la he combinado con accesorios básicos y minimalistas también en blanco y el toque de color se lo he dado con una camiseta amarilla, que además de ser uno de mis colores favoritos también esta de rabiosa actualidad. Os gusta???

Esta semana la revista S Moda celebró en Madrid la Fashion & Bloggers Date, un evento en el que reunieron a marcas y bloggers en el Palacete de los Duques de Pastrana. El evento fue sobre todo primaveral! Unos jardines estupendos llenos de prendas de colores y bloggers alegres. Lo pasamos de maravilla y, como siempre, fue un placer reencontrarme con mis compis de la blogosfera! Felíz domingo!!!
This week Fashion & Bloggers Date was hosted in Madrid by Spanish magazine S Moda, bringing together brands and bloggers at the mansion of Duke of Pastrana. The event was very spring-like! Tenía preparado otro DIY para hoy, pero estaba escuchando a Lana del Rey y viendo las flores desde mi ventana y bueno... la primavera se ha apoderado de mí! Una corona de flores es de las cosas mas sencilla y vistosas que vamos a ver en esta sección. No cuesta casi dinero hacerla, es un complemento ideal para bodas, bautizos, comuniones y fiestas hippies, y cuando las flores se secan queda muy decorativa colgada en cualquier rinconcito.
This is not the DIY I had ready for today, but I was listening to Lana del Rey and watching the flowers from my window and well... Spring spirit took me over! A flowers crown is one of the most simple and eye-catching things we're gonna see here. You hardly spend any money making it, it's a lovely accessory for events during this time of the year, and once the flowers have dried you can hang it anywhere as a decoration.
