Una vez en Diskit, ya he perdido la cuenta de las horas en jeep que llevamos, lo que más nos apetece es tomar un chai en el balcón de nuestra habitación, con vistas al monasterio y al gran Maitreya Buddha de la colina.
Tras recuperar fuerzas toca subir la montaña y visitar el monasterio, con vistas al Valle de Nubra y al desierto de Ladakh, y para rematar el día un paseo en camello!!!
Once in Diskit, I have lost track of the amount of hours we've spent on the road, we take some time off to have chai at our room balcony, with view to the monastery and Maitreya Buddha up the hill.
After a break it's time to go up hill and visit the monastery, with view to Nubra Valley and the desert of Ladakh. We topped the day with a double humped camel ride at sunset!!!
