Aprovechamos el buen tiempo para visitar el Parc Güell (otra obra de Gaudí), con sus casitas de cuento, sus originales formas, coloridas cerámicas, palmeras y buganvillas.
Thanks to the sunny weather we could visit the Park Güell (one more of Gaudí's work), with its fairytale houses, original forms, colourful ceramics, palm trees and bougainvilleas.
Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer cuando voy de viaje (además de subir al punto más alto posible y probar las especialidades del lugar) es ir a algún mercado, y siempre que vengo a Barcelona me paso por el de la Boquería, así que, aprovechando nuestra visita al Barri Gòtic, pasamos a tomar algo. Es admirable lo perfectamente colocado que está todo, y el colorido que tiene el lugar. Además es un festival de olores; en un pasillo huele a frutas tropicales, en el siguiente a quesos, hojaldres, marisco, verdura… os dejo estas imágenes para que os hagais una idea, aunque si podéis os recomiendo que lo visitéis y probeis todo lo que os llame la atención!
One of the things I enjoy the most when I travel (apart from going to the highest point and tasting the specialities of the place) is discovering a market, so every time I come to Barcelona I stop by at la Boquería. We went there before entering the Barri Gòtic of the city. Is admirable how perfectly everything has been placed, and the colours all over it. Moreover it is a scent fest; tropical fruits, cheese, bakery, seafood, vegetables… here are some images, but if you get the chance go and try whatever catches your attention!
Nuestro tour ha empezado en Madrid, con un paseo intensivo por el Templo de Deboh, Plaza España, Palacio Real, Ópera, Plaza Mayor y paradita en el Mercado de San Miguel para tomar algo… ostras y croquetas!
Our tour started in Madrid, walking all over it: Temple of Deboh, Spain’a square, Royal Palace, Opera, Plaza Mayor and a short stop at San Miguel’s Market to eat yummy oysters and croquetas!
