No hemos podido acampar debido a exámenes, entregas finales y trabajo, pero pasamos la jornada de reflexión en Sol y colaboramos como podemos.

We haven’t been able to camp due to exams, final assignments and jobs, but spent last Saturday at Sol and we keep on collaborating with this nonviolent protest.

A ella le encantaba el sol, y también las tormentas. Intentaba dormir boca arriba, pero siempre amanecía acurrucada de lado. Era de los Rolling, pero se le saltaban las lágrimas al escuchar Let it be. Y negaba comer aceitunas, pero a veces, cuando las tenía delante, se comía una rápidamente y hacía como si nadie lo hubiese visto, ni siquiera ella.
Cada mañana, al despertarse con el Clair de Lune, jugaba a ser alguien distinto de quien fue la mañana anterior, aunque al cabo de unas horas volvía al papel que más le gustaba interpretar; ella misma.
Aquel día todo fue diferente. El Claire de Lune no sonó suficientemente fuerte, así que cuando consiguió despertarse era algo más tarde de lo que le hubiese gustado. Cogió la manta que tenía a los pies de la cama, se enrolló en ella y entró en la cocina, mirando de reojo la cafetera.
Había dormido lo suficiente, y en cualquier caso ya no llegaría a su hora, así que pasó del café, aquella bebida que tan poco le gustaba pero que necesitaba cada mañana, y empezó a preparar un té de jazmín. El olor del jazmín lo cambia todo. Se puso de puntillas para alcanzar su taza preferida y, cuando se hubo servido la infusión bien caliente, se dirigió a su habitación.
Tras unos minutos frente al armario, toqueteando camisas y pañuelos con una mano mientras sostenía la taza en la otra, con ambos codos apretados a sus costados para sostener la manta, que seguía cubriendo su cuerpo, decidió recurrir al comodín; sacó sus Levis oscuros, esos que desteñían sobre la tapicería del sofá, y una camisa blanca. Miró con nostalgia sus zapatos de tacón, apoyó la taza entre una torre de camisetas y otra de jerseys y se probó el zapato derecho, con el izquierdo de puntillas, aun descalzo, dio un par de pasitos observando su reflejo en la puerta. Finalmente se quitó el zapato de tacón, lo colocó cuidadosamente en su sitio y se puso unas bailarinas.
Tomó un par de tragos más y se dirigió a los sombreros, escogiendo uno marrón chocolate. Cuando tenía un día creativo siempre se ponía un sombrero, o una gorra, o un pañuelo, cualquier cosa que retuviese las ideas dentro de su cabeza. Creía que así era más sencillo conservarlas, y así al volver a casa por la noche, se quitaba el sombrero y lo miraba, rescatando todo lo que se le había ido ocurriendo a lo largo de la jornada.
She loved the sun, and also the storms. She tried to sleep face up, but woke up snuggled up on one side every morning. She was into the Stones, but Let it be brought tears to her eyes. And she refused to eat olives, but sometimes, when there was a bowl on the table, she ate one quickly and pretended no one had seen it, not even herself.
Every morning, when she woke up at Clair de Lune notes, she played a different role from the one she picked the previous morning, but after a few hours she was done and shifted to the role she really enjoyed; herself.
That day everything was different. The Claire de Lune didn’t ring loud enough, so when she managed to get up it was a little bit later than she expected. She grabbed the blanket at her bed’s foot, wrapped it around her and entered the kitchen, looking at the coffee maker out of the corner of her eye.
She had slept enough, and anyways she wouldn’t make it on time, so she skipped coffee, that drink she didn’t like at all but drank out of necessity in the mornings, and started making jasmine tea. The smell of jasmine changes everything. She stood on tiptoe to reach her favourite mug and, after filling it with the hot tea, went back to her bedroom.
After a few minutes in front of the closet, fingering shirts and scarves with one hand while holding the mug on the other, with both elbows pressed onto her sides so the blanket wouldn’t fall, she opted for the wildcard; pulled out her dark Levi’s, those which faded on the couch’s upholstery, and a white shirt. She took a nostalgic look at her heels, put the mug between a tower of t-shirts and a jerseys one and slipped the right foot in the heel shoe, tiptoeing with the left barefoot a couple of steps while watching her reflection on the door. Finally she removed the shoe, placed it back carefully in the closet and wore a pair of ballerinas.
She had a few more sips and went towards the hats, picking one in chocolate brown. She always wore a hat when she had a creative day, or a cap, anything that could withhold the ideas inside her head. She believed that keeping them was easier that way, so when she reached home at night, se removed the hat and looked at it, rescuing every thought she had throughout the day.
Durante los días que estuve en L’Empordà hice una escapada a los pueblitos de la zona, que parecen sacados de un cuento, y visité el Castillo de Púbol, dónde Gala y Dalí pasaron sus últimos días.
During my days at L’Empordà y went to some of the small villages of the area, and they look like a fairytale scene. Y also visited The Castle of Púbol, where Gala and Dalí spent their last days.
Aproveché el puente de mayo para pasar unos días geniales en L’Empordà, navegando por las Islas Medas e intentando atrapar algún rayo de sol.
Normalmente llevo rayas marineras a bordo, pero esta vez opté por un look más colorido, siguiendo la tendencia “color block”, por facilitarle la labor a los de salvamento marino en caso de caer al agua!
I spent last holidays enjoying the fresh sea air at L’Empordà, sailing near by the Medes Islands, and trying to catch some sunrays.
I usually wear navy stripes on board, but this time I chose a look more colourful, following the “colour block” trend, to make coastguards task easier in case I fall into the water!
Hace una semana estuve desayunando en una de las tiendas Loewe con motivo de la presentación de su colección para el próximo otoño/invierno.
A week ago i had breakfast at one of Loewe’s stores in Madrid, where they showed us the upcoming Autumn/Winter Collection.
La firma madrileña nos propone prendas de abrigo con cortes limpios y estructuras bien definidas en napa combinada con otras pieles procedentes de avestruz, cocodrilo, zorro o antílope. Los colores dominantes serán el chocolate, marfil, camel y negro, animados por toques en naranja, turquesa y rojo.
El toque más chic de la colección lo ponen los bolsos y el calzado. Maletines con aire retro y botas y botines ideales para combinar con los abrigos, aunque por ahora vamos a disfrutar del verano que nos queda por delante.
The Spanish brand has designed with neet and smart coats in napa combined with ostrich, crocodile, fox or antílope furs. The basic colors will be dark brown, ivory, camel and black, with some garnments in orange, turquoise and red.
The chic touch is given by the bags and shoes. Retro cases and fabulous boots, but let’s enjoy the summer time right now.

Para caballero predominan el camel y gris, con toques de la gama del rojo al magenta.
For the gentlemen they’ve created a collection in camel and gray with some red to fuchsia tones for shirts and pullovers.
Además, para los amantes del color, el bolso Flamenco (original de 1984) ha sido relanzado por Stuart Vevers en unos tonos alegres, elegantes y que no pasan desapercibidos, todo ello con un diseño monísimo en la mejor napa, sello indiscutible de Loewe. Yo me he enamorado del magenta y coral!
And finally, for color lovers, the Flamenco Bag (original from 1984) has been reintroduced by Stuart Vevers in bright colors, and made from Loewe napa. I’m in love with the one in fuchsia and coral!
