Después de ver Peñíscola desde el mar, ahora toca entrar en la ciudad amurallada y subir al castillo. Callejear por el pueblo es una delicia, y el castillo tiene un montón de explicaciones y audiovisuales para turistas, yo me lo salté todo para subir a una pequeña terraza y disfrutar de la vista!
After showing you Peñiscola from the sea now it's time to enter the walls of the city and go up to the castle. The narrow streets are delightful, and the castle has lots of explanations and audiovisuals, which I completely ignored and went all the way up to a small balcony with an amazing view!

Peñíscola es una pequeña ciudad mediterránea de Castellón. El casco antiguo es una fortaleza coronada por el Castillo del Papa Luna. Pasé 3 días de escapada familiar, callejeando por sus rincones y disfrutando del mar y la playa. Hoy os enseño la ciudad desde fuera, dimos un paseo en barco alrededor, y en el próximo post os enseño la ciudad y el castillo por dentro.
Peniscola is a small mediterranean city in Castellón. The old city is a fort hosting Pope Luna's castle. I spend 3 days there with my family, roaming the streets and enjoying the sea and the beach. Today I'm showing you the city from outside, we took a boat, and on the next post I'll show you the city and castle from inside.

Sagunto es una pequeña ciudad cercana a Valencia y conocida por su castillo y teatro romano. Está bien para hacer una paradita si estás por la zona, la zona alta del castillo es enorme, aunque de dificil acceso, y el teatro romano ha sido reconstruido sobre lo que quedaba en ruinas, que era poco...
Sagunto is a small city near Valencia, know by its castle and roman theatre. It's a good option to stop by or for a one day trip if you are around. The fort area is huge, but the access is complicated, and the theatre was recently rebuilt, but you can still see part of the original structure...
