Good morning! A few days ago I visited Lorenzo Caprile exhibition in Madrid, and I realized I haven't shared some previous ones here. I hope I can share Caprile images soon, but you can still visit in person! Today I'm showing you a smaller exhibition, Gianni Versace at the National Museum of decorative Arts in Madrid, which was nice to discover a couple of months ago. Here are some images in case you missed it:
I must tell you, even if Versace is a big name in fashion, it's not a house I know much about. Of course I'm familiar with their iconic chain prints, medusas and greek details, and some couture show full of chiffon dresses stole my heart years ago, but I don't think I have anything from them. I visited Versace house in Miami and had lunch at the wonderful patio, but that is the closest I've been to this fashion brand.

Here we can see a clasic suit by Yves Saint Laurent, next to a bolder version by Versace.
Qué os ha parecido la exposición? Os gusta Versace? Os pondríais sus diseños? Contadme en comentarios!
How did you like the exhibition? Do you like Versace? Would you wear his designs? Tell me in the comments!

Italian and French fashion have a special relationship, friendship and competition that have stimulated and helped them grow through out the years.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteThe Gianni Versace exhibition sounds like a wonderful opportunity to learn more about his bold and daring designs. It must have been interesting to see the personal taste of the donor reflected in the collection, along with comparisons to other designers. I look forward to seeing your post about the Caprile exhibition soon! I just shared a new post; let me know what you think. Have a lovely weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment darling, the Caprile exhibition is much better and I hope I can share it soon!
