Buenos días y bienvenidas a un nuevo destino! Hoy is traigo algunas imágenes de mi vista al estado de Maine, concretamente a Portsmouth y Portland, junto a su famoso faro Head Light.
Good morning and welcome to a new destination! Today I'm sharing some images from my visit to Maine. We discovered Portsmouth and Portland, along with its famous Head Light.
La verdad es que el tiempo que nos hizo fue bastante desapacible, de lluvia, viento helado y humedad, así que no apetecía mucho pararse a hacer fotos, pero algunas hice. Sobre todo de la comida! Maine es famoso por su costa y por su marisco, principalmente por sus langostas, pero también tienen unas ostras buenísimas de muchísimas variedades, y todo fresco!
Truth be told, the inclement weather did not help take the best pictures. It was cold, rainy, windy and humid, so we basically stayed indoors eating! Maine is famous for its coast and seafood, specially lobsters, but they also have tasty oysters of many kinds, and everything so fresh!
El lobster roll es el plato típico de esta zona, que es un panecillo bien tostado en mantequilla, con un cremoso relleno que lleva langosta picada, una bomba!
Lobster roll is the local delicacy, which consists of a bread roll toasted in buter with a creamy stuffing with chopped lobser, a bomb!
Los edificios de ladrillo visto son los protagonistas de estas calles, con un montón de locales monísimos.
The streets are lined with bricked buildings and charming shops.

Ah these photos are so fun. Yes the weather this time of year in that part of the country can be a bit off putting. My friends just moved there. I hope to visit them at some point, I will probably go in the summer months.
