Buenos días! Hace muchos años estuve a punto de irme de au pair a Cape Cod. Finalmente acabé en Irlanda, pero me quedé con el gusanillo de conocer aquel lugar, así que planeamos una escapada desde Boston para explorar esta zona costera de Massachussets.
Good morning! A long time ago I almost moved to Cape Cod as an aupair. I ended up in Ireland that Summer, but I had wanted to visit this place since then, so we planned a short trip from Boston to this costal area of Massachussets.
Empezamos por el punto más lejano, Provincetown. Un pequeño pueblo marítimo donde pasear, comer la típica langosta de estas costas y disfrutar de las vistas. Es un destino muy popular en la comunidad LGTB+ y suele ser muy animado en temporada alta.
Let's start on the extreme tip of Cape Cod; Provincetown. A small town by the sea where you can walk, eat the typical lobster and enjoy the seaview. It's a very popular destination for the LGTB+ comunity and very lively in the high season.
El clima estaba medio raro, pero aun así paramos en mitad de la nada, caminamos unos cuantos kilómetros entre la maleza para llegar a una playa que estaba ocupada por una brutalidad de leones marinos. Según nos vieron llegar se metieron corriendo al agua pero se quedaron ahí, observándonos fijamente durante toda la siesta...
The weather was weird those days, but we made a stopin the middle of nowhere, walked a few kilometers and ended up at a beach occupied by a huge amount of sea lions. They run to the water the second they saw us, but stayed there watching us carefully the whole time...
