Buenos días! Últimamente asisto a muchas bodas, y para la última mi amiga María me pidio ayuda con un cartel para su llegada a la iglesia. Al final se nos ocurrió hacerlo reversible y utilizarlo a su llegado con la frase "Ya viene María" y a la salida con la frase "Vivan los novios!" Me pareció una idea sencilla y muy vistosa, así que hoy la comparto aquí, qué os parece?
Good morning! I have attended many weddings lately, and for the last one my friend María asked me to help her making a poster for her church arrival. We decided to use both sides, one for her arrival saying "Here comes the bride" and the other one saying "Just married!" It's simple and lovely, so I've decided to share it here, what do you think?
Necesitas / You need:
- Un trozo de arpillera / A piece of sackcloth
- Texto en papel / Printed text
- Tijeras / Scissors
- Pintura blanca (o rotulador) / White paint (or marker)
- Alfileres / Pins
- Aguja e hilo (o máquina de coser) / Needle and thread (or stitching machine)
- Palo de madera / Wood stick
1. Corta un trozo de tela, el doble de la medida necesaria / Cut a piece of fabric, double of the amount you need
2. Dobla por la mitad y cose el doblez, para introducir el palo / Fold in the middle and stitch it, the wood stick will go inside
3. Saca algunos hilos para que queden flecos en los bordes / Remove some threads so you get fringes on the sides
4. Recorta el texto para usarlo de plantilla / Cut the text to use it as a template
5. Coloca el texto en la tela / Place the text on the fabric
6. Sujétalo con alfileres / Pin it
7. Repasa el contorno de cada letra con un rotulador / Mark the outline of each letter
8. Quita la plantilla y comrueba que está todo el texto / Remove the template and check the text
9. Rellena cada letra / Color each letter
10. Repite los pasos 5-9 por el otro lado con el segundo texto
11. Introduce el palo por la costura
