Have you ever wondered how to decorate your lunch table when there's little space? Today I'm bringing a simple and elegant trick, that won't take any space from your table. Are you wondering how do they stand? Let me tell you the secret...
- Un tubo de metal (mejor si es magnetizable) / A metallic tube (better if its magnetizable)
- Imanes planos / Flat magnets
- Sierra para metales / Metal saw
- Metro / Measuring tape
- Rotulador permanente / Marker
- Lija para metal / Metal sandpaper
- Pistola termoselladora y monedas (si el tubo no es magnetizable) / Glue gun and coins (if the tube is not magnetizable)
Yo me empeñé en hacerlo de cobre porque me gusta el aspecto, pero esta idea es más sencilla si elegís un tubo que atraiga los imanes. / I wanted to make this is coper, but it'll be easier if you take a tube that attracts magnets.
1. Marca el tubo por donde quieras cortar, en mi caso 2 de 20, 2 de 17 y 1 de 25 cm / Mark the tube where you want to cut it, in my case 2 of 20, 2 of 17 and one of 25cm.
2. Corta los trozos con la sierra / Saw the pieces
3. Lija los extremos para que no corten / Sand the edges so they don't cut
4. Comprueba que las piezas se sostienen sobre el imán / Check if the pieces can stand on the magnets
5. Si has elegido un metal como el cobre, que por si no lo sabíais no atrae a los imanes, debéis añadirle pegada una base que si los atraiga / If you have chosen cooper, that fyi is not magnetizable, you'll need to glue a magnetizable base
6. Las monedas de céntimo son perfectas! / Cent Euro coins are perfect for this!
7. Repite con todos / Repeat with all of them
8. Coloca los imanes en el lugar de la mesa qué quieras, cubre con un mantel y pon un tubo sobre cada imán. Añade una flor o ramita en cada tubo. / Place the magnets on the table, cover with a table cloth and place a tube on each magnet. Add a flower or small branch on each tube.
A disfrutar de mesa puesta ! ! ! / Enjoy your table ! ! !
