A unos pocos kilometros
After two
days on the road we finally reached Leh, the old capital of the kingdom of
Ladakh, next to the China and Tibet borders. On top of the city is the old
Palace, with amazing view to the Indus valley and the Himalayas. And a few
kilometres away you can find Hemis monastery, with its famous festival, and
Thiksey monastery, with a lovely ladakhi architecture.
